The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant, bar, banquet, or dining operations to ensure excellent customer service, high-quality food and beverage standards, and efficient team performance. Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Supervise daily food and beverage service operations.
- Ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to maintain service efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
Staff Supervision:
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff.
- Prepare work schedules and allocate duties.
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching.
- Conduct briefings before shifts and communicate operational updates.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
Customer Service:
- Welcome guests and ensure exceptional service experiences.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Gather guest feedback and implement service improvements.
- Maintain positive guest relationships and encourage repeat business.
Inventory & Cost Control:
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering processes.
- Minimize waste and control operating costs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products.
Sales & Financial Responsibilities:
- Support sales targets and promotional activities.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and POS transactions.
- Assist in preparing daily sales and operational reports.
- Help achieve departmental revenue and profitability goals.
