About the Job
The Hotel Maintenance Technician ensures the proper maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of the hotel's facilities and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical facilities.  
  • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and other equipment.  
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues related to lighting, plumbing, heating, cooling, and minor carpentry or drywall repairs.  
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption.  
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.  
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.  
  • Keep maintenance tools and supplies organized and in good condition.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting.  
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.  
  • Good communication and customer service skills.  
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.  
  • Relevant certifications (a plus!) (e.g., HVAC, electrician, plumbing licenses) are a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • 8–10-hour shifts
  • Morning, Day, Evening, Night, and Overnight shifts available
  • Flexible Availability: Rotating weekends and weekend availability and holidays.  
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, outdoor areas, and elevated locations.

Job Type: Full-Time positions available In-person role
